Transition to school visits
Starting school is a big and exciting adventure for our junior tamariki and their whanau! It can also be a challenge settling into a new environment and structured routine. It's important to remember, that not all transitions are the same, just like each and every child is so uniquely different. Transitions are a combined effort of child, teacher and whānau. School visits give our junior students a chance to explore their new class environment and meet their new kaiako and future friends. With each visit we hope to build the child's confidence and comfort in their new surrounding, ready for the impending start date.
