Ms Cameron has been a teacher at Mayfair School since 2014 and her children have been educated at Mayfair School. Mrs Cameron has a Bachelor of Education from Massey University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Practice through the Mind Lab. She has taught New Entrant through to Year 6, while at Mayfair, and thrives on her relationships with others. Ms Cameron has two children and enjoys travelling, concerts and socialising. She has amazing relationships with our little people and parents.

HOLLY LEES - MIDDLE TEACHER/LEADER

Miss Lees joined Mayfair School at the beginning 2019 after being a candidate teacher at our school. She has a Bachelor of Teaching from the Eastern Institute of Technology, the premier training teaching programme in New Zealand. She has phenomenal relationships with the children and is a caring and kind human. Miss Lees is a Taradale and Hawkes Bay girl. She is the syndicate leader of the middle team.

KANA TERE-TAYLOR - JUNIOR TEACHER

Mrs Tere-Taylor landed at Mayfair in 2021. She gained a Bachelor of Teaching in Early Years (0-8) at Massey University in Palmerston North. Mrs Tere-Taylor has many years of experience teaching children under the age of 5 and has taught in the Manawatu and Hawkes Bay. She is married and blessed with two children. Relationships with children, staff and whanau, children's wellbeing, the classroom environment, language, culture and Identity is part of her personal philosophy which reflects in her teaching.

KERRY MACKENZIE - JUNIOR TEACHER

Mrs Mackenzie has been teaching at Mayfair School since the mid 90's. Mrs Mackenzie has 2 beautiful daughters who both attended Mayfair School. She lives in the country and farms blueberries in her spare time. She is passionate about the arts and the school creativity award is named after her.

BRIDGET JOLL - JUNIOR TEACHER

Miss Joll moved to Mayfair School from Pukehamoamoa School in 2021. She has a number of degrees and specialises in TESOL and linguistics. This specialist training has taken her to teach in Japan before returning to New Zealand. She is an expert in Mathematics and loves spending time with her partner and fur baby.

Mrs Wattrus arrived at Mayfair School from South Africa at the beginning of 2020. Se studied education at the University of South Africa. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark and her two sons, Josh and James. As a family they enjoy going camping and she enjoys chilling with a good book!

SHERIDENE WATTRUS - MIDDLE TEACHER
KATE MOLINEAUX - MIDDLE TEACHER

​​Miss Molineaux arrived at Mayfair in 2021. Se has a Bachelor of Art history and English and a Postgraduate Diploma from from Auckland University. Miss Molineaux use to work in design before making the decision to become a teacher. She has been a swim teacher fora long time, and taught once ESOL online. When she was younger she once won a trip to NYC for a design a post card comp!

TAMMY WELSH - MIDDLE TEACHER

Miss Welsh arrived at Mayfair in 2021. After she completed a sports degree she completed here graduate diploma in education. Miss Welsh is a keen sportsperson and has represented Central Districts in cricket and football (soccer). She has a talent in dance and has reached the pinnacle of her examinations after her 14 year career. There is not a day where she is not keen to be out there playing sport with the students.

JAMES BAILEY - SENIOR TEACHER

Mr Bailey joined Mayfair School in 2018 and is a graduate of the prestigious Eastern Institute of Technology teaching degree. He is a talented rugby, touch and league player and you will see him on the local fields on the weekend or evenings owning the turf. He is married to the wonderful Chevelle who is also a teacher at Frimley School and who spent a year at Mayfair while training to become a teacher. James is passionate about sport and the development of our local Mayfair talent.

ANNIE RURAWHE - SENIOR TEACHER/KAHUI AKO WSL

Mrs Rurawhe started at Mayfair School in 2016 after spending time teaching in England. Miss Riley is an Across School Teacher for our Kahui Ako and in this role she supports teachers to improve practice and for students to improve their learning. Miss Riley is a born and bred Hastings girl and is much loved by the students. She is super active and is the master of whole foods. In her spare time she enjoys going on adventures with her pets and husband Luke.

Whaea Toia arrived at Mayfair in 2021. She was born and bred in Dunedin and moved North to complete her teaching degree. She is a fluent speaker of Te Reo Māori and has a strong background in Kapa haha, the latter taking her to perform in Canada. In her home time he loves being mum to Te Rauhiwa and getting use to the Hawke's Bay heat.

GRACE PARSONS - JUNIOR TEACHER

Mrs Parsons started at Mayfair School in 2016 after teaching in England. She is currently on maternity leave. She has a Bachelor of Teaching from the University of Otago and a Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Practice from Unitec. Mrs Parsons loves being active and hails from Southland and Central Otago. She is very supportive of her husband Tom, and his rugby career, and you will see her cheering on the Magpies at most home games.

KATE FOX - RELEASE TEACHER

Mrs Fox started at Mayfair School in 2017 and has a Bachelor of Education from Massey University. She has the privilege (or pain) of being married to Mr Fox. Mrs Fox loves hockey and has played at the top level in Hawkes Bay. She is a farm girl and grew up in Weber in Southern Hawkes Bay. When she isn't at school she is hanging out with her daughter and son. Mrs Fox loves travelling, seeing new places and experiencing new things.

ANDREW CRAWFORD - RELEASE TEACHER

Mr Crawford has been at Mayfair School since the 90's. He has been principal of Raukawa School and a past Deputy Principal of Mayfair. He is an amazing musician and a very popular person at the school. Mr Crawford is one of the originals of the Hawkes Bay Crawford teaching family who have had a significant influence of teaching across the Hawkes Bay. When he isn't at Mayfair he is running his Number Works business.
