Mayfair runs a range of sporting events, both in house and against other schools. We regularly compete at inter-school competitions and provide many sporting opportunities.

Term 3 Updates
Mayfair Primary communicates updates about sporting events via a closed sports Facebook group. Updated details are placed about each sporting team on the Facebook Sports page. Please join here if you have a student in a Mayfair sports team.

Tag at Mayfair
We’re excited to announce the launch of a brand-new sports programme at Mayfair School — Tag Football.
This fast-growing sport has recently gained momentum in Hawke’s Bay, and we are proud to be introducing it across all age levels, with every class participating.
Our goal is to give every student the opportunity to learn and enjoy this exciting game. By starting early, we are preparing our students to take part in a sport that opens doors to incredible opportunities, such as representing their culture, community, or region at future tournaments. We look forward to seeing our tamariki build new skills and confidence through Tag Football!
