SHERIE BETTS - PARENT REPRESENTATIVE

Ms Betts and her mother attended Mayfair School as a children and her 6 children are all educated at Mayfair. She is an intelligent lady who put off studying law to become a mum. She is a fantastic community supporter and if there is a day at school that needs parent help she is there in the middle. Her heart is the success of the school and is the sounding board for many of the community. She sits on the Mayfair Kindergarten Committee and is an elected Governor and Chair of the Heretaunga Kindergarten Association. She has been on the board since 2016.

NICK RICHARDS - PARENT REPRESENTATIVE

Mr Richards has been a member of the board since 2013 and has been a Chair of the Board before Mr McMillan. His daughters are 3rd generation Mayfair students and enjoy the education that he and his mother received. Mr Richards was key to the hiring of our current principal and is a champion of the Mayfair Community of which is is the leader. He is also on the Karamu High School Board and in his spare time works at McCains and supports his outstanding six daughters and his wife Lana. He is passionate about health and safety and positive outcomes for all students from ages 5 to 18.

RUSSELL IRVING - PARENT REPRESENTATIVE

Mr Irving has been on the Mayfair Board of Trustees since 2019. All of his children have been through Mayfair School and like many on our board, a former student of Mayfair himself. Mr Irving is a busy man as he has oversight for all the pool builds for Bermuda in Hawkes Bay. He has lived and breathed Mayfair his entire life and is passionate about the education of children at Mayfair School. He is always first to put his hand up to support camp ands has supported the camp leaders for a number of years.

ALICIA VEENSTRA - PARENT REPRESENTATIVE

Ms Veenstra was elected onto the Board of Trustees in the 2019. She is the mother of two sons whop have been educated at Mayfair School. While she is only newly elected she is no stranger to the school and is a visible sight around the community. She support with running the breakfast club most mornings is a massive support to our school.

RICARDO FOX - PRINCIPAL

Mrs Fox has been the educational advisor for the board of trustees since his appointment since 2014.

LYNLEY EDMONDS - STAFF REPRESENTATIVE

Mrs Edmonds was re-elected onto the board of trustees as staff rep in 2019.
